I breed queens for my own operation and I want to let beekeepers in the lower mainland get queens that have never been in the mailbox. I believe the stress of caging or shipping a queen can negatively affect their performance.
All queens are marked and have never been in a cage until the day you come pick up. Pick up only at our farm to avoid the stress from mailing. Comes in jzbz cages with candy plug and a few attendants.
My criteria for selecting breeder queens:
Overwinter at least one year
Strong Spring build up
Hygienic/VSH traits
Gentleness
