The Nucleus Colony includes:
• 3+ Frames Brood (egg, larvae, capped stages)
• 1+ Frame Honey/Pollen
• 1 Frame of Empty Drawn Comb for Laying
• All Frames Covered with Bees (10k-15k)
• Our own Mated, Marked, Laying Queen (overwintered or fresh mated)
• An Ez Nuc box ($10 deposit on return)
The Nuc will have brood in all stages. Each frame will be covered by bees. The marked queen will be loose in the box to reduce stress and decrease chances of absconding. Most importantly, the queen is established which means she is already accepted and proven with her excellent laying pattern.
Choice of overwintered nucs (priority given to those that took Beginner Beekeeping Course - 1 Day) if there are extra available.
The full price includes a $10 deposit return when you bring back the EZ Nuc box. You can keep the EZ Nuc box to create your own splits or catch swarms.
Inspection is permitted at pickup before leaving the property. Upon leaving the property, the buyer assumes full ownership and responsibility for the livestock.
