I breed queens for my own operation and I want to let beekeepers in the lower mainland get queens that have never been in the mailbox. I believe the stress of caging or shipping a queen can negatively affect the performance.
Queens have never been in a cage until the day you come pick up. Pick up only at our farm to remove the stress from mailing.
My criteria for selecting breeder queens:
Overwintering ability
Spring build up
Honey production
Gentleness
Next available estimated for mid May
